November 2009  Klebos finally stops using Windows 2000
After over eight years, Klebos has at last started using Windows XP on all its non-Linux machines.

The final straw came when it was not possible to run Google Chrome or some useful Firefox extensions on Windows 2000. We had avoided XP because of the more onerous license restrictions compared with Win2000; which are particularly awkward when repeatedly installing the OS on multiple test machines.
